With your in-depth knowledge of payroll and time tracking, you ensure accurate, efficient, and optimized payroll processing. As a Payroll Expert, you are the go-to person for complex payroll issues, keeping up with the latest legislation and leading improvement projects. You also actively participate in all related initiatives.

That’s where you come in: tackling key topics, ensuring clear documentation for the future, and proposing optimizations to guarantee an efficient and, above all, accurate payroll operation. All of this with a good dose of fun and real collaboration within the team and the broader payroll and HR organization.

What will you do? Under the guidance of the Operational Lead, you will be responsible for:

  • providing expertise on payroll, time tracking, and post-payroll processes
  • monitoring legislative and sectoral changes and translating them into concrete actions
  • optimizing payroll and time tracking systems, coordinating the testing of new functionalities
  • initiating improvements to enhance efficiency within the team
  • creating and maintaining essential documentation
  • preparing and supporting internal and external payroll audits
  • building and sharing knowledge on international employment topics
  • acting as a point of contact for external partners such as the social security office and payroll agencies

What do you bring?

  • at least 10 years of experience and in-depth knowledge of social legislation (payroll and post-payroll processes)
  • SAP HR expertise and an interest in tools and digitalization
  • proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, etc.)
  • analytical mindset, strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a structured approach
  • critical thinking and a drive to optimize processes
  • team spirit and motivation to move forward together
  • strong communication skills in Dutch and French
