Department Manager | Special Techniques Buildings and lift

You take the lead in building strategy, strengthening customer relations and driving multi-technical activities in Brussels and Grimbergen. You grow in a role where you influence projects, people and long-term performance.

Your work location: Grimbergen
Your Equans base: Brussels (Brussels & South services division)

Zoom on the job:

• you steer financial, operational and safety targets of the department
• you develop the departmental strategy and translate it into organised activities
• you act as administrator of the legal entity
• you take full P/L responsibility of TEM/Technilift and manage budget and long‑term objectives
• you detect deviations in costs, turnover and results, and launch corrective actions
• you manage invoicing and cash collection
• you prepare and present the Quarterly Business Review and the annual report
• you manage customer relationships together with operational teams and decide on margins during contract negotiations
• you take final responsibility for all execution activities and ensure quality, environmental and safety objectives are met
• you lead teams, organise staffing, and initiate training or recruitment needs while stimulating innovation and collaboration

Come as you are, ideally with:

• a master’s degree in electromechanics, electricity or a related field
• solid technical knowledge from at least 10 years of experience in technical roles, project management and/or operations
• experience in managing people, with at least 5 years in a leadership role
• an entrepreneurial mindset and a strong sense of ownership
• leadership skills with a collaborative and team‑oriented approach
• a results‑driven attitude focused on delivering tangible impact
• the ability to adapt in demanding environments
• fluent French and Dutch, with good working knowledge of English
