In the role of Business Developer Digital Solutions at Equans Digital BeLux, you are the partner for our customers and play a key role in laying the foundation for their digital transition. You build upon current accounts and sustainable relationships and initiate the first contacts (incl. cold prospecting), which are later developed further by our internal experts.
Thanks to your commercial network, flair, technical interest and tier-1 knowhow (understand what is under the hood), and smooth communication, you know how to acquire, engage and retain customers and build trust.
Your work location: Nivelles.
Zoom on the job:
- build relationships at all levels, from operational teams to management teams and C-levels, and gain trust from various stakeholders
- attend events and networking meetings to raise the visibility of Equans Digital and establish new contacts
- identify customer needs and market trends and bring them together in valuable proposals
- use our Equans Digital Global Network (other digital divisions worldwide) for support, share info, learn and inspiration
- open customer doors which were closed before (within accounts, dormant accounts, unknow/new accounts)
- work closely with internal teams (French, Dutch and English speaking) to relay customer information and prepare solutions
- emphasize the operational and financial added value of our digital solutions and guide customers in their decision-making process

Come as you are, ideally with:
- a degree in a technical, commercial, or related field; or equivalent experience
- at least 10 years of experience in a commercial or technical sales role, preferably in a digital or technological environment
- familiarity with digital OT technologies and with the possibilities of generative AI and how to apply them in a commercial context
- the ability to close deals and actively pursue new opportunities
- preferably a relevant network in our OT/IT (system integration) market
- strong interest in digitalization and technological innovation
- strong social skills: you are a natural networker and know how to engage people
- a results-oriented mindset, the ability to build trust and a “Yes, we can” mentality
- fluency in Dutch and French; English is a plus
