As a Team Lead Payroll Services, you play a key role in motivating, organizing, and developing your team. Working closely with the content lead, you ensure payroll processes run smoothly and efficiently. In a company undergoing transformation, you make a real impact by guiding your team through change, supporting them with coaching, training, and clear structures.

Our team is evolving, and a strong people manager is essential to bring everyone along in this transformation while ensuring smooth operations. With a good dose of fun and true collaboration within the team and the broader payroll and HR organization, you help create a dynamic work environment.

What will you do?

  • organize, plan, and manage the daily operations of a team of payroll officers
  • coach, motivate, and evaluate your team, offering support in challenging situations
  • set up and coordinate training programs for both new and experienced colleagues
  • ensure the correct application and monitoring of payroll and administrative processes
  • keep documentation and procedures up to date and ensure their active use
  • identify and implement improvements and optimizations within the team
  • lead internal and external communication on payroll-related topics

What do you bring?

  • 5 to 10 years of experience in a leadership role within payroll
  • strong knowledge of payroll and willingness to master SAP HR
  • proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, etc.)
  • excellent communication and empathy skills
  • ability to motivate, guide, and structure, including handling difficult conversations
  • a team-oriented and open mindset with strong analytical and administrative skills
  • accuracy, structure, and attention to detail
  • good command of Dutch and French
